The Punjabi music industry started in  India in 1970. And this industry became famous in 1980

Harbhajan Maan. In addition to Canada, Australia, Punjabi music has also gained popularity in other

parts of the globe. The music industry is very popular because it beautifully depicts rich Punjabi

culture and traditions.

Furthermore, second-generation Indian American youth in major American cities such as Canada and

England has adopted elements of Punjabi music into their nightlife. The music that is very popular

among this Indian American subculture incorporates both Western and Eastern influences. Urban

sounds including hip hop, R&B, and dance music are mixed with the more traditional Indian genres

of bhangra and Hindi film music.

Gurdas Maan. Now there are some new singers in the industry. Like Jass Manak, Jassi

Gill, Gurnam Bhullar who is a  very good Singer and Actor.
